Lima, Cuzco, Sacsayhuamán, Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes – Estimated 5 Service Hours

Familiarize yourself with life in Peru, the third largest country in South America, through hands-on service projects and authentic interactions with locals.

Every day you’ll build your confidence in Spanish through morning language lessons and in conversations with people from the area. As you work together with locals on a series of small community-based service projects, you’ll be immersed in the culture, expanding your fluency, and experiencing life as the Peruvians do. And, you’ll return home with a better understanding of what meaningful service means to you in an interconnected world.

  • Day 3: Cuzco

    Today’s language lesson is centered on the theme of symbolism and cultural preservation. 

    Travel via Chinchero and Urubamba to the Sacred Valley

    Enjoy a weaving demonstration

    Visit the Pablo Seminario ceramics workshop, where you will:

    • Learn about Peruvian pottery history and techniques
    • Participate in a ceramic-making activity
  • Day 4: Sacred Valley • Service Project

    Today’s language lesson is centered on the theme of educational access and economic independence.

    Since projects are determined closer to your actual tour date, here’s a glimpse at what your first day might look like:

    • Work on building structure and maintenance
